Swoock · independent software workshop

Software,
made properly.

We build small, sturdy programs: utilities, tools for medicine, and the occasional game. First out of the workshop is Animal Crossfire, a free voxel wilderness for Windows that is growing into a game about rescuing animals from the crossfire.

Animal Crossfire

Escort as many animals as you can to safety, armed only with your wits (a gatling gun helps, if you find one). Build a sanctuary and protect your flock. The whole loop is in the current build, along with a wilderness to run it in: real sunlight, a hundred animal species, mountains with caves to the summit, water that flows, weather on its own schedule, and a soundscape that walks with you. Built on Pax3D, our own rendering engine.

The workshop

Small studio,
strong opinions.

Swoock is a small, independent software studio. We build the kind of software we want to use ourselves: quick to start, honest about what it does, and respectful of the person using it.

That means no ads, no accounts you don’t need, and no telemetry quietly phoning home. You download a program, and it’s yours.

Animal Crossfire, our first release, runs on Pax3D, a rendering engine we built in-house. The utilities and medical tools on the bench get the same treatment: built from first principles, tested hard, and shipped when they’re ready.
